Peter qualified at Bradford University in 1996. Where he completed research into biomechanical video analysis of movement.
He is also qualified in sports science & researched effects of nutrition (Energy drinks) on performance.
He has worked for the NHS as a Senior Physiotherapist, in the following department: Young Disabled Unit, Respiratory, Neurology & Musculoskeletal. He also worked for the Army Foundation Collage, The Bradford Bulls & in private practice
Peter worked in France for 4 years and trained and worked with the French National Ski Coach Bernard Chesneau (author of Ski As You Think & Director of Ski Mastery), developing biomechanics & foot/lower limb alignment methods. They developed at the time Europe’s only full biomechanical ski alignment process.
He returned to the UK 12 years ago and worked for the West Yorkshire Physiotherapy Centre as a lower limb and foot alignment consultant.
He has now set up The Physio Hut in Denholme to continue his physiotherapy services to a high standard.
His main approach to physiotherapy is to bring together all the elements of movement and the body as a whole to analyse & identify significant factors. Therefore enabling a plan to be put in place to address and resolve or manage these factors & thus attaining satisfactory results.
Peter’s main interests are Cycling – Road/Mountain/Cyclocross, Kite Surfing,
Telemark Skiing, ski touring and Mountaineering.
